The whole world knows the name Warren Buffett. He is by far the greatest stock investor of all time.  This site will use his knowledge as a building block as Warren Buffett did with his mentor Benjamin Graham.  Warren Buffett is not the end-all-be-all if you are an investor that strives for excellence.  Warren Buffett’s teachings will be a cornerstone of our investment structure but I believe he will implore you to attempt to go beyond his knowledge and reach for something more.  This site will be an institution of learning for beginning and seasoned investors alike.  This is the only site for individuals that want to learn from the master, then surpass him.

If past history was all there was to the game, the richest people would be librarians.

In the business world, the rear view mirror is always clearer than the windshield.

Look at market fluctuations as your friend rather than your enemy; profit from folly rather than participate in it.

Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is. You can’t buy what is popular and do well.

Only buy something that you’d be perfectly happy to hold if the market shut down for 10 years.

Our favorite holding period is forever.

Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.

Risk comes from not knowing what you’re doing.

We don’t get paid for activity, just for being right. As to how long we’ll wait, we’ll wait indefinitely.

Wide diversification is only required when investors do not understand what they are doing.

You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don’t do too many things wrong.
